About me
My name is Pierrick Thébault and I am a PhD candidate at Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs France and Arts et Métiers ParisTech.
I have a Master’s Degree in Industrial Design from L’Ecole de Design Nantes Atlantique. I worked as a freelance user interface designer for one year, where I helped companies to enhance the user experience of their web applications
I have been blogging on the subject of art and technology for four years, writing design analysis for Orange Labs for two years and working for the French magazine “Amusement” for another two years. I am also the co-founder of the “lllllllllllllll” (L16) art collective where I created several interactive installations using tangible interface or virtual reality technologies.
Since 2009, I am part of a multidisciplinary team at Bell Labs Applications Domain. My research aims to explore a variety of strategies that seek to enhance the user experience design of the web of things.
